TOPMAN X AGI & SAM COLLECTION LAUNCH

Thursday evening saw the launch of the new collection by TOPMAN and quirky design duo Agi & Sam at Apartment 58 in London. Lots of cocktails and funky 90s dance tracks - and the designers themselves were there to join in the celebrations.

Colourful, sporty and inspired by owls and tacky vintage football kits - check out my full feature of the launch via the IDOL blog: http://idolmag.co.uk/blog/topman-x-agi-sam-launch-event

QUEEN OF HOXTON SUMMER ROOFTOP PARTY

Last night I attended the Summer Rooftop Party at the Queen of Hoxton in East London. Such a fun evening; a massive BBQ, lots of refreshing cold drinks and a friendly crowd united together to relive their youth in the East side.

The Queen of Hoxton is branded "the ultimate youth club for the adults of East side." I agree! Although the unsurprising British weather wasn't exactly on our sides for the whole 'Summer' part, that didn't rain on anyone's parade.

Check out my post for IDOL MAG: http://idolmag.co.uk/blog/queen-hoxton-summer-rooftop-party and follow IDOL on twitter as well: @IDOLMAGAZINE

STYLE NOIR PRINT LAUNCH PARTY

Last night I attended the StyleNoir magazine print launch party at Movida in London with IDOL Magazine.

It was an amazing evening celebrating the first StyleNoir print issue being released. To celebrate in style; the DJ was playing sounds from the 90's, cranberry and lyche cocktails were being served (with crystal head vodka) and the crowd were truly dressed beautifully all the name of noir.

A very successful evening for StyleNoir editor James Joseph and I'm wishing him lots of luck with the future of the magazine - although something tells me he doesn't need much of it.

I'm looking forward to picking up my first issue! Check out the website here and order your first copy of StyleNoir.

LIFE AS A FASHION WRITER

Here is my usual update on the blog posts I've done for IDOL Magazine. I've literally been non-stop writing today, my commitment to IDOL of course and then Boys by Girls features that will be posted in the next few weeks.

It's safe to say I'm actually quite enjoying being a fashion writer, considering as long as it has been an aspiration of mine I'm actually doing it now. As of next week my commitments will be a lot more intense and time consuming as my studies have come to an end now so now I have to devote as much time as I can into both publications.

I'm going to try and update my own personal blog as much as possible although I'll probably be posting a lot less frequently. However keep up to date with the IDOL blog and the online features on BBG, a lot of my writing will be there as well.

JIL SANDER HAND-MADE MEN'S COLLECTION

Here is my latest post for the IDOL Magazine blog. I've featured Jil Sander's hand-made men's collection which is probably one of my favourite collections yet from the iconic fashion house.

The colours that work together, the sharp cuts, the attention to detail and the structure. It's a perfect menswear collection in my eyes.

Take a look at the post here or check out the whole collection here.

IDOL MAGAZINE BLOG POSTS

As I posted a while ago, I am now a fashion writer for IDOL Magazine. As well as attending events, features writing and handling various interviews; I'm also a contributor to the blog. Since I've been super busy lately writing for everyone else but my own blog (shame on me - I'm not complaining though) I thought it would be cool to post a few of the links on here for anyone to have a quick read of. My fashion editor loves it when we promote the website and get them more viewers so please do! Love from SUPERNATURAL BOI

THE DEVIL MAKES WORK FOR IDOL THUMBS

After months of sending endless emails and applying to various publications for writing positions, I am pleased to say that I am now a fashion writer for IDOL Magazine.

IDOL is one of my favourite publications, personally I feel like I can relate so much to it and it is completely on my wavelength. That is something that is very important for me when writing and contributing whatever it may be is concerned. I like to feel a connection with the vision, the aim and the inspiration that goes into the magazine.

With IDOL, I get exactly that. It holds a strong sense of individuality, a quality that separates it from other quirky publications - an attitude almost that perceives it as a superior force. Nothing about IDOL is dated, it isn't particularly current either - but it hits the bullseye straight away. That's the beauty of it, for all the creative individuals in the world that have a vision slightly different from what we see in a modern fashion magazine, it's spot on.

I feel privileged to be contributing and I'm beyond excited to working with the IDOL team and for everything it has to offer. I'll be posting updates about my time with the publication (and Boys By Girls!) and anything that us worth sharing here on the blog.
